Started 85 years ago in our grandparents home in a small village in Hungary. Our grandmother baked the kichelech and sold them in their little bake shop. Her kichelech quickly became the talk of the town they were the thinnest, crispiest crackers. Everyone wanted a bag of the kichelech for Shabbos. Our grandmothers recipe lived on in my family to become a staple at every Shabbos meal and kiddish. Later my grandparents moved to Belgium where they continued to bake and sell their special kichel and other delicacies .
When we moved to the United States, we brought our grandma's recipe with us and now for more than 10 years,Belgium's Best has been making America's favorite Egg Kichel the old-fashioned way:from scratch,in small batches, and using the finest ingredients .
